Case Cartridge 30mm solid

This case came from Radway Green about 30 years ago.
The only markings between the base and the belt are: 'J 30MM R.G.60'.
The only 'J' I know associated with SAA (excluding 30mm) is for Illuminating items.
I do not know if the case has been plugged with the truncated section. It weighs 673g.
The case length from base to top is 111mm, and including the truncated part 115mm.
