Royal Navy 2 pounder ammo boxes

Hi All.

This is my first post on here so i hope it goes well.
I am part of a WW2 reenactment group and in our enforced down time we have been repainting and labeling correctly alot of ww2 ammo boxes.
we have acquired an number of 2 pounder pompom ammunition boxes about 6 now in total.
These are large heavy galvanized steel boxes.
One came with a lot of the original data and and markings on it, we are using this one as a template for the rest.
the data on the front makes sense.
ammunition type and quantity
type of gun,
how the ammo is connected
propellant type
N stamps for navy
red stripes for explosive

However there are two markings we dont understand,
first a diagonal yellow stripe on the right hand side of the box,
secondly a broken white circle with a off center cross.

Can anyone tell us what these mean before we put these on the restored boxes.
many thanks
Alan

the box is stamped with 1941 in the side with a punch set, other boxes are marked the same way 1939, 1942, 1938.
this is all stamped into the side next to the handle.
there are some stenciled numbers that are illegible due to age and wear. but i don't have any other photos at this point.
