I am a relatively rare poster on this forum although I tend to look quite often. I was hoping some one could provide some guidance please. I've recently been offered a German WW1 38cm Max Lange case and since this area is new to me I don't know what the going rate would be here in the UK. Does anyone have any guidance please as to current prices for such cases or indeed any of the other larger calibre cases such as 28cm L/45 - 50, 24cm etc. etc. I've heard numbers of £2000-3000 being thrown around but I have no clue to be honest. I know that condition would obviously impact this to a certain extent. Since they don't seem to come up that often then it's difficult to get a clear idea.
The figures I have seen mentioned on here all seem a few years old now.
Any help would be appreciated.
