WW1 Projectile dug up in a Toronto back yard

A big one and fuzed too - 6" to 8" they said, looks like 8" to me.
I'm not sure that is enough truck if this went badly ~

All I've ever found at home is a desiccated Rat, old Ham bone, horse shoe and an Alcoholics Anonymous medalian :tinysmile_angry_t:

Looks a lot like a 9.2 to me, I wish we could know the story of how it ended up there.
 
Site of an old scrap yard or someone's wartime souvenir ? A big lump so easier just to bury it
 
We will never know and the army will likely blow it up. Though if it were weighed first
one could tell if it were empty or not.
