    Picatinny Arsenal in house training manuals - PDF files

    A big hello to all my fellow collectors,

    It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. Many things have happened since then. My collection was slowly filling up all available space at home and had very little options left. I had to let go of it all. Fortunately it all went to good homes.

    I still have most of my reference material though and am making sure that as much of it is scanned and transformed into PDF's as possible.

    So here we are with a series of 4 PDF files of in house WWII training manuals from the Picatinny Arsenal;

    PICATINNY ARSENAL LOADING PLANT COURSE 1940
    http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/downlo...o=file&id=1007

    PICATINNY ARSENAL TENTATIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSPECTION & ASSEMBLY OF THE FOLLOWING FUZES; Artillery & Mortar Fuzes M-48 M-51 M-52 M-53 M-54 M-55 M-56 Bomb Fuzes M-103 M-106 and Boosters M-20 M-21
    http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/downlo...o=file&id=1006

    PICATINNY ARSENAL FUZE LOADING MANUAL 1941
    http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/downlo...o=file&id=1005

    ORDNANCE SCHOOL PICATINNY ARSENAL COURSE II 1940
    http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/downlo...o=file&id=1004

    The Picatinny Arsenal was a U.S Army loading plant. These manuals give a very detailed in depth overview of the general organisation and operation of the arsenal in respects to Fuzes and Artillery Ammunition as well as their assembly inspection and loading processes.

    I hope that these manuals will help to give you all a bit of background to the story and processes behind those US WWII fuzes and artillery projectiles within your collections.

    I am recovering from a bilateral knee replacement so hopefully I will have time to produce some more interesting PDF files within the next few months.

    Cheers,
    Robert
