Civil War 4 Pounder

Enclosed are pics of an early Borman fused 4 pounder cannonball. You can clearly see the numbers on fuse the highest number on the fuse has been struck. This is probably a Union fuse but who knows it might be Confederate too.

Very nice canonball. Its time fuze is almost identical to this 1883 specimen that was used by the Dutch colonial army.
