This chap was sweet on my Grand Mother, it came to nothing.
How ever I have this photograph he sent her. His Canadian records
indicate that he was back in Canada in 1916. So maybe that is when
he transferred to the RFC. The RFC operated training bases in Canada
but records are in the UK. Apparently it cost 30 pounds per inquiry !
Or can a UK resident avoid this onerous cost. If any one can find
out any more I would like to know about him. He did survive
the War my Mother told me. I don't imagine that there were very
many Olaf's in the RFC ~
