Hello Everyone,

I have had this practice mills a few years now. Bought it online. Its a solid body that appears to be made of some kind of alloy.

The lever, pin and tip of what would be the striker are all separate parts.

Anyone seen a mills like this before? Home made? Post war practice design?

Thanks,
Luke

Also, anyone know why my pictures always upload sideways?

Hi Luke

I've got one of those.

I bought it from an ex soldier who said it was a throwing practice grenade from his time in the army in the late 1960's. I bought it about 8 years ago.

I must admit I was a bit sceptical as I'd never seen another until yours showed up today!

Back in the 70's I remember replica metal Mills grenades were sold in the Exchange and Mart for £1.25p and I wondered if it was one of those.

Here's some pictures on my one.
