Hotchkiss 25mm and 37mm cases

found these 2 shell cases today, the 25x194mm Rimless (Experimental)

Does anyone know the significance of the circled (T) stamp on the 37mm, i have looked through my books/papers but to no avail

I'm not sure that your 25 x 193 rimless is experimental. It was the first of the 25 mm Hotchkiss rounds, appearing in around 1933-4 (followed by the rimmed 25 x 194R a year or two later, and the 25 x 163 rimless a couple of years after that). It was designed for an automatic anti-tank gun, which was advertised in a 1934 catalogue. The gun was certainly built, and there are rumours that some were sold, but I've not been able to pin that down.
 
Hi Tony, i did read somewhere in the past that it was experimental and that has stayed in my mind ever since, i'm happy to be corrected, i will continue to search mainly for the correct projectile type

The group photo shows the case differences.
Projectile also differs from the Jap one as the steel body also unscrews.
