Westbrook Veterans Memorial Park, Canton, OH

Spain was the last major world empire on the path of US domination of the Western hemisphere. An explosion onboard USS Maine, an American battleship in the Havana harbour because Americans in Cuba felt threatened, exploded in 1898, which ignited Spanish-American War. A 10 week war lead to Spain losing Cuba, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Phillipines. This is one of the American memorials.

It is surprising that Spanish forces were still using those 1700s era muzzle loaders that late.
