2pdr Pom Pom quad questions

Trying to run down some questions on the feed mechanism of the quad 2pdr Pom Pom.

(1) mount information says that these weapons were refitted with an electric motor replacing the original hand crank for synchronization. The octuple with institution of free fire had a rate of fire of 115 rpm. Was this true of the quad mount? In other words was the rpm of the motor sufficient for the slightly faster rate of fire of 115 rpm vs 96-98 rpm under ‘controlled fire’ with the hand crank?

(2) There is video of the mount being reloaded while firing. Was this typically done with the 8 belts already linked and fed into the ammunition box, or does the gun feed mechanism allow individual belts to be loaded without the need to link multiple belts if needed.

Thanks in advance...I’ve been unable to locate a 2pdr Pom Pom Manual online that details the feed mechanism
