Balkan Wars, Bosnia, an American pilot is trying to survive after being shot down https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0159273/. Like "Top gun" but with more bullets flying. Nice adrenalin raising movie, USS Carl Vinson of San Diego Coronado fame, gory mass graves in Srebrenica, angry NATO officials...just pure fun.

One of those films I don't mind watching again if there's not anything else on I haven't seen, if you haven't seen it put it on your to watch list.

the bit where he runs through the bounding landmines makes me laugh,hollywood seems to think that people can run faster than explosives!

Since we are already started nitpicking: The shotdown scene between the F/A-18F and the Strela-10 SAM was a lot of Hollywood BS as well:tinysmile_hmm_t:
