1899 Britsh navel case which gune exactly ?

I just came a cross this, a nice casing with notches for the cap so the length
is true. A separate loading gun, but which one. Too small for a 4.7, too big for 12Pdr.
I'm abit out of my depth here, measurements on the images.
No doubt it uses one of those awful protruding primers.

Nice case...... QF 4 inch Mk 4 seperate loading

Your data are mixed
14 7/16 inch is not 367mm ....but actually 379.5mm
So there was initial confusion .....

I think there is still confusion. 379.5mm is close to 14 7/8"".
14 7/16" is 367mm and I think it is a 4" Mk3 coast gun case (102x369R) Not a Mk4?
 
Ha yes i muddled my own lists ...i meant to say Mks 1, 2 & 3.
Of course it is not a Mk 4.
And even my basic maths was too hurried.
