    Unknown mine

A fellow collector recently purchased this mine but has been unable to identify it. It's a bit out of my area of collecting so I was hoping someone would know what it is.

Any help would be appreciated. THANKS! Pat

Pat, It's a WWII U.S. M3 anti-personnel mine. The bounding types were generally used more after the war so the M3s have always been pretty scarce. Nice piece.

    Thanks Rick,

I will let him know. He is a young collector just getting started so it's nice to see him land a good piece!
