Tavaro M37 (with WaA)

Hello.

I was checking my tavaro fuzes earlier tonight & when looking into these two in more detail I found they were both WaA marked.

more specifically : WaA 131

Have had these for atleast 20 years but never noticed it before.

other markings include : TA-6-42 & TA-7-42 on the other one.
then below that M 37 followed by WaA 131

Is this original or ? As when I googled this waffenamt the first thing I found were reproduction stamps , which I did not find a good sign to be honest.

On the other hand though , the WaA on both fuzes seems to be oxidized just like the rest of the fuze , not sure if that means anything but if any of you could tell me more about this one , would be much appreciated !

But these are for the Danish Vickers AA guns. With 1942 as date I think these were officially ordered in Switzerland and paid for. Same for the dutch type war-time Tavaro No.5 fuzes...

It would be interesting to know if German manufactured shells for the Danish Vickers AA guns existed.

The WaA stamp is original. The earlier M37 fuzes without WaA stamp have the Danish crown stamp instead of the Ta-x-42 stamp.

That's a good question which I cannot answer. I have never seen anything about captured Danish weapons other than small arms. The WaA stamp would indicate army use but I can say that they were under naval control like the dutch No.5 Tavaros too (also WaA stamped)...

What Alpini said earlier about the Danish ones having the crown marking & no TA-x-42 :

attached several images of a Danish one.
