Hello,
Can someone help me with the introduction date for the WP mortar round, please?
What theatres was it used?

Thanks Bob.

There is a chapter about it in "Handbook of ballistic and engineering data for ammunition volume 1" from 1949

No answer but we already found M302 projectiles on ww2 battlefields (East of France)

The M302 started out as the T-6. The round in my collection is roll stamped "LOT B.W. 1 1943 60MM T-6", which, I think, is from the first production lot of metal bodies by Borg Warner.

From the Report of the Fiscal Year, 1944-1945, Research and Development Services of the Office of the Chief of Ordnance, the adoption of the 60mm M302 WP round was done 11 January, 1945.
