Unknown German ww2 naval case

Hi, who can help me with this case? They pop up sometimes in this lenght. Maybe kustenhaubitze 28 cm?
there’s not much to find on this... thanks in advance.

It's a cut down 28 cm C/95 case (280x1221R320,2) I think for 28 cm S.K. L/40 and maybe longer guns.
 
28 cm Kst. H. is 283x377R314 but this is a WW1 case.
28 cm S.K. L/40 C/95 is 297x1221R320.

I agree with Alpini that I expect it to be a cut down 28 cm C/95.

Yes it is a C/95 karth , But on his photo we see 315 mm and not 320 mm why this difference ?

Yes, and the ruler lying on the base did not cross the center of the case (see primer hole). And also the rim of the base has a small radius instead of a sharp edge.

Best practice is to use a caliper.
