This Russian movie about WWII Soviet dogs trained to carry explosives under German tanks https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4706780/ is released dubbed in English under a name "Red Dog". It has a love story overlaying the war events and muddying up the action a bit, but otherwise is a good effort.
Watch out for a German soldier shooting SKS at the Soviet trenches in the opening scenes, and later in the middle of the movie Germans using Bren against Soviet defenders.
