Sarajevo 20mm

Enclosed are pics of an Yugo/Serb 20mm trench art shell. There must be some sort of cottage industry going on selling these shells. I do know they were intended for the triple barrel anti-aircraft cannon made in 1955 and I think still in use today. This shell is not common from my area of the woods and is the only one I have come across.

I have found 2 of these cases about 4 years ago. Same maker Chachak, Serbia.
One is ornately engraved like yours. I had a choice of 3 types. $20 each?
One case is 75105 after the C and symbol. The other is 7183. Similar headstamps to yours and is not engraved. 71 and 75 are the years?
I agree someone is making pretty cases for collectors and they are not common here too.

The manufacturer symbol is CЧ - Kompanija Sloboda A.D., Cacak

I think these were not uncommon souvenirs from the Bosnia war. They seem to be less available these days.

I was wondering if they were sold as souvenirs during the Sarajevo Olympics. We all know what happen to Sarajevo shortly afterwards.

I found my case. It has a different fancy design and is marked MOSTAR near the base.
This is another city in Bosnia / Herzevogina.
