It's a personal document of an individual showing his various successive "working activities and employment" .
This kind of document is still in use with various professions in present day Russia.
My "personal translator" being currently abroad for her work, I cannot help you further than that till she's back here in a week's time - hopefully still in good health - international travel is an increasing health risk by these days.

This book belonged to a Ukrainian man born in a town called Gorlovka in Donnetsk area (area of military activity now, with ethnic Russian population trying to separate from Ukraine) in 1923, he was a machinist working with lathes before IIWW started, he was in special ski battalion in 1941, then went through a division school, joint The Communist Party of The USSR in 1942, became a commander in 60th Army in 1942, went through additional political education in 1943, went through officer school in 1943, became commander of an artillery section in 1944 and ended the war commanding a machine gun artillery section in the Far East of the USSR. It looks like he moved away from the front which travelled west towards Germany, and he was moving east. After the war he was in charge of a metal fabricating factory and then a political instructor at a coal mine, moved west to Leningrad as a political military instructor, then to Kiev in 1956 to another political school, the back to coal mines. Retired in 1984. Sorry I skipped a lot of boring entries.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look through and translate it.. Dont apologise about missing out the boring bits you have provided me with lots of info to write down and put with the booklet.
I just have one last question..could you tell me his name as i cant read the script
Again thank you very much
Allan

I've got a similar document which was sold to me as a 'Internal Passport' which was used to travel between the various states that made up the CCCP. If I can find it i'll post a photo.
