Agreed. I've got it in three colors, all with the same marking on top. Mine all have a rubber piece over the pull ring, red or black. Sorry for the photo quality.
Thanks to all, great information as always. So if my dating of the piece is correct I guess it is likely to have been supplied during/for the North Yemen Civil War.
