Male or female Baseplate

Hello,

The Bomb, demolition, 1000 lb., M44 has a female baseplate and only US suspension lugs. The Bomb G.P. 1000 lb., AN-M44 and AN-M65 have a male baseplate and a third (UK) suspension lug.

What about the Bomb G.P. 1000 lb., M44 and M65 without a British lugs. Has these also male baseplates?

Greetings - Antoon

If the bomb has the same M (model) number, it would have the same base plate, British lug or not. U.S. WWII GP bombs from 250 Lbs. thru 2,000 Lbs. all have male baseplates for box fins during the war, and conical fins post war.
