KPS and FES driving bands

A Japanese friend has asked me for information about two types of projectile driving band: KPS and FES. I know very little about driving bands and have never heard of these - can anyone help?

Hi Tony
it refers to the material used in the drive band, and is often marked on the projectile in paint.
There is also FEW, and im sure a fourth, but it eludes me.

FES = Sintereisen (FE - the chemical element iron, S = Sinter-)
KPS - Kupfer Panzer Stahl in D 420/150 (copper armoured steel)
FEW - Walzeisen in D 435/3 (rolled iron)
