Can anyone tell me what this safety tag belongs to?

Hello Gentlemen,

Can anyone tell me what this tag was used on? Since it mentions a release plate being attached to a trip wire, I assume it was not a grenade.

I remember finding these while walking on the ranges of dartmoor as a teenager, seem to remember they were part of a trip flare set up.
