Double banded 37mm proof shot I’d please

Good morning, I wonder if anyone can identify this 37mm proof shot. It has an odd one piece double copper drive band. There are no markings of any sort. Total length is 95mm. Although I cannot be certain, it may have originally come from Kynoch Witton or the Birmingham proof house.

band looks like Madsen but not sure of the crimp groove position, would need to check.

The Labbett book on 37mm Madsen ammunition (series 1 pamphlet 7) shows a load of design drawings of projectiles with driving bands just like this, the crimping groove seems to be in the right place. No flat head projectiles are shown in the book though.

The book shows design drawings of 37mm Madsen rounds. The bands are similar to the band on the one shown on this thread but I can't confirm either way if it is a proof Madsen projectile.

Juse updating this listing, I now have the I.C.I. Blueprints for 37mm Madsen rounds, but not the flat head proof!

Ok Defender, they are with my son at present and I’m away for the next 10 days but will sort out any suitable drawings, there are a little over 60 - but not all large calibre, and post single photos as time permits. From memory I think those particular drawings were dated 1939.

Better late than never, here are some of the blue prints mentioned previously. These are all for the 37mm Madsen. There are other calibres and other manufacturers rounds, both military & sporting, which I will upload as time permits.
