40mm trench art ?

Recently got this matching pair of cut down 40mm with nail ? punch designs
They both depict on the front a lady showing a lot of leg in a long gown.
The rear of both are done in smaller punches and both show a lady in lingerie emptying a box of what could be money over the head of another who is seated reading a book or magazine. Could it be a brothel ?
Sorry for quality of photos but found it difficult trying to photo the detail on shineyish brass..
