Please, somebody, go there and take photos. Do NOT miss 100th anniversary of ANYTHING. I learnt this from the 100th anniversary of Tobyhanna Army Depot http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/thread...ight=Tobyhanna, probably the ONLY and the LAST time public allowed inside.

It is around 20 miles South of Coventry by road.
I wasn't sure where the location was without looking it up, so hopefully others find this post useful.

Falcon, fly there (with a camera). With the present petrol prices, it can be only 1000 pounds round trip![]()
Tim: Do you mean no requirement to notify of arrival in advance? Is there a requirement to provide any photo ID at the gate?
There was a similar event advertised at RAF Northolt in West London a few years back. In that case, the public had to book tickets and provide copies of ID in advance. That may also have been open to UK passport holders only.
I didn't actually attend, but did see it advertised.

@Falcon,
That is the information as promulgated by those involved. As I read it, all are welcome, you just turn up (no booking etc.).
