88 shell

£100, Ben had quite few on his stall ,i wonder where they all went, i am after one Finish referb. The cases are still about. Projectile havent seen one since.

In fact, the Kwk 43 uses the narrow drivingband type shell for the first 500 shots and than changes to wide drivingbands to avoid pressure loss due to barrel wear.

Didn't know that, thank you.

I think the last time i saw those ex-Finnish projectiles they were being sold on Zib Militaria. Interesting to note they all had original yellow colour under the Finnish grey as well as the Waffenamt marking.

I noticed that there were yellow paint on the refurbished cases when Ben was selling them. I wondered if there was the same amount of cases sold as there were projectiles. how much were these going for.

Nice doc, greif ! What is this ordnance intelligence leaflets series ? Is it available online ?

Cheers,

S.

unfortunately I only have a few loose ones and I don’t know to which manual they belong. It is a loose-leaf system and never did see it online.

Examples of 8,8 cm Sprgr L/4,5 Przugz and 8,8 Sprgr Flak 41 with grooves.
