A 93 year old Hungarian woman is telling her family history to her daughter before dying https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3825698/. But really she is telling the history of Hungary, from before IWW to the 1960's and beyond. It is a great film, employing multiple genres and techniques, very humorous, segueing old documentary reels of IWW, IIWW, General Dome Sztojay affair and 1957 Hungarian Revolution. Basic knowledge of Austro-Hungarian Empire and subsequent shifts in Hungarian borders is required to understand characters' actions, as things are presented sometimes in a vaudeville-like musical fashion. As to me, my upbringing in the USSR comes very handy in the post IIWW part of the film, with terms like nationalisation and "you better join the Party" not easily understood in present times.
