    So to summarise the 3.7in and 95mm short cases (ie excl 3.7in AA)....is this the full list?

    94x92R WW2 3.7inch Howitzer (Fixed round)
    94x104R WW2 3.7inch Close Support Mortar (Fixed Round)
    94x205R WW2 3.7inch Infantry/Mountain Howitzer (Separately Loaded - No Crimps)
    95x92R WW2 95mm Infantry Support (Separately loaded - No Crimps)
    95x206R WW2 95mm Close Suppost Howitzer (Fixed round)

    Any comments?

    Richard,

    I think that there is also a 95x205R separate round for the 95mm infantry howitzer.

    Hogg has a picture in British and American Artillery of WW2 on page 39.

    It is dated 1944 and shows howitzer with detachment and one of the crew is holding a separate case that is much longer than the base diameter.

    He also states that "originally it was hoped to utilise the existing designs of ammunition used with the 3.7in howitzer, this was soon found to be impracticable and a complete new range was designed" and states the case was 8.1" long
