Unfortunately to Europe/US the postage is a bit ugly as there are nearly 800 pages. If there was a Northern Hemisphere distributor...

Highly recommended, i hunted one down a couple of years ago so the new pricing is much friendlier!

just got the book in the mail today, just a quick look - lot a good info here and it is a very very well bound book - to the author great job

Any chance someone with this book could help with details for the Smoke Curtain Installation 250 lb Mk IV? Mostly looking for length and diameter.

I hate to purchase the whole book to research just one item... (sorry Geoff)

Thanks in advance.

The length is approximately 1095mm, however the examples that i've measured, have all been field recovered and as such are rusted or deformed.
I know someone who has a pristine example of one of these so will mail him for an accurate length.

The diameter is 279mm

For information these came in 250lb, 400lb, 500lb, 1000lb and 1700lb sizes, all with mustard fill.

Cheers

Pete

The exact measurements are as follows:

Length with fairing - 1765mm

Length without fairing - 1219mm

Diameter - 304mm

Fill - 60.4 Litres of Mustard

Hope this helps

Cheers
