A very nice well displayed collection you have there !

Brilliant !

Well Gspragge I think you cornered the market on 37 mm Calibre rounds.
A very impressive collection there indeed !
What are the two very long cased rounds ?
How long have you been collecting them for and do you collect anything else ?

long ones

If you mean the two up on top, they are both French 40x100mm Canister rounds for the Fortress revolving Gun. Empty, one has no headstamp, the other is marked Mle 1879 & Puteaux. 07. If you mean other rounds just ask. I have been at these for 6 or more years ( I think), used to collect all manner of ww1 Canadian & German equip & uniforms, now just these. I know of others who have many more than this - there is as we know no end to it. I just collect these now and perhaps associated items if and when, these are enough trouble - far more than I expected - I should have known !

Canister rounds

Thanks for the explanation Gspragg, still some to go then ?
Well for 6 years collecting them you have done well my friend !
