    88 Gun Anti-Tank Round

Go on then,i will post some pics of some of my latest gear around the forums.
Ive had more than a couple of PM`s requesting.

This rascal is what im led to believe is a 88 round for anti-tank use?
cant think of the proper designation right now plus all info books are buried in the house.
    Over to you then men!

Plenty of original paint, some nice stencilling on the case too.
There is a little rust build up on the base which will be sorted very soon on advice from you gentlemen?
Looks like im in for a long night at the computer-face then eh!,ive got quite a few pics to upload!
Ive put a little talc on the bottom of most of the gear to make lettering stand out for the pics.

    cheers

    Hi Waff
Excellent looking shell. Looks like a 8,8cm pzgr 39 projectile.

    Thanks again SG,
How would you clean the base though mate?
I thought of a light rub with oil or WD40?

For me, I just leave alone. That way I don't do any damage and the base of the 8.8cm case looks fine.
