Here two pics to those interested in belt links. Photos taken at a former Luftwaffe storage area in northern Finland a few years ago.
Enjoy.

Mariusz, did you keep that MG151/20? With all the rust removed that would make a nice display piece.

That could be legally owned in the UK, as it is clearly a relic in "non usable" condition.

Hi,
We find tree Mg's 151. One - almost complete (first post) and two destroy,- because in this place (old luftwaffe storage area) after ww2 russian aemy EOD, destroy in one hole all guns from aircraft. There was many other guns in this place; Mg 131, 151, 17, 81.. and other stuff from luftwaffe equipment.
Unfortunately - all in bad condition.

We made one Mg restoration complete.
First one - almost complete - still wait for restoration, unfortuatley we have short of technical information and manuals abaut this weapon.

Yes Falcon, it is clearly "non usable" any more gun, even in better codition; electrical trigger, weight... you can't "rob a bank" or make other crime with this gun but... unfortuatley some people don't understand this is only a relic. Thats way we can't keep this.
After restoration Mg is send too museum.

Sorry for my bad Englisch.

Regards.
