Russian 122mm AP in the US

I finally found one. The fuse is inbound to me. I did some restoration work to reduce the severity of the pitting.

Ecellent find...as you say extremely hard to obtain.... do you have a case for it to show its proportions as a complete round?

Hello Rich,

So far the tank case is harder to come by then the projectile. I have WWII dated 122mm cases (two types) for the howitzers, but not the tank case.

I finally found a case dated 1944 , but it had a big ding in it. Fortunately, I built the right tool for removing big dings from big cases. I know the projectile does not belong on top of the case, but it was a very tight fit. All my other separately loaded ammunition has a very sloppy fit for the projectile to the case.

I like what you did to this case. Very Nice. Will you share your tool with us? :)
Is the Su-100 case ww2 dated?

Wow! I have to start usung other stuff than just wrenches and hammers :) This is great.
Btw, is this projectile a 100mm for sure? As far as I know there should be 2 driving bands.

I have a new nicer 122mm AP projectile. Who wants to be my new best friend and buy my old 122mm AP?
