Strange German bomb fuze pocket

Found from my storage this bomb fuze pocket that I have picked up long ago. It definitely is German - and takes a standard German bomb fuze, but is quite strange design. Radius of the upper part says that it is for size 50 kilos bomb, however there are no marks showing that it would have been permanently attached in a bomb body by any means. Further there is no thread for locking ring. On sides of the top there are remains of two studs, possibly this was the version using a bayonet locking disc to lock the fuze? Further there is a 80mm long wooden filler plug on bottom. Plug is fastened with a traverse screw and has 6mm hole thru in length, with a 10mm traverse hole below fastening screw.
What do our specialists think about this?

The Fuze pocket is the early pattern that used a steel washer to hold the fuze in place with two screws and as you say was used in the 50Kg Bombs on the outside of the fuze pocket on the version i have here is a rubber tube that fits into the larger hole in the wooden block, its purpose is a little unclear , as i can find no reference to its construction in the manual

Yes, but it is a totally loose item, no welding marks or screws or what so ever to attach on bomb body. Definitely not cut off from a bomb - that's the interesting part.
Could it be from a thin walled flame bomb, flash bomb or similar, having been attached by crimping the thin outer wall over the upper part of the pocket???

hi my one is the same ive always assumed that these were liberated from the factory so were never fitted to the bomb.

What i found it's from a Blitzlichtbombe (photoflash) because of the hole in the lower part of the fuzepocket BL C 50 A and also the LC 50 F Parachute Flare.

It looks about the same but not quite, the wooden block has just a 6mm hole thru, no cavity for pictured Zndladung.
This item comes from an exploded storage of live bombs, not from a factory. I think I have earlier posted a photo from the site at wrecks topics.

Then it's for the LC 50 F Parachute Flare with the fuze EL.Zt.Z (9) or EL.Zt.Z (59)A

That's it. Thanks for ID Mad. The pocket must be one from the site shown in picture.
