    17 A Latest Addition

This came to me from a collection that was being
    thinned out.

It is better than it looks and is another Emergency pattern
steel bodied 17A. Made by Rhs 1940

    Hi Phil
Has someone sand blasted the top ! The emergency pattern were never finished off nicely like the earlier And later versions , its very deceptive to newcomers to the hobby who see one of these types of fuzes to think its corroded
    was the clock ok inside?

Hard to tell as far as sand blasting goes as although it looks etched
    the stampings are quite strong.

The clocks are all present but unknown if intact, but they do look nice and clean inside with traces of ink stampings on the end of the clock casing.

Will strip down once more time is available.

    Best phil

    Thanks Paul

I am fairly pleased with it and will hopefully turn it around and
make this a keeper. It can go in my purpose made box

    Best phil
