    Many thanks Spotter,
The data is just what I need for gentle refurbishing.
I'm tracking down decent primers and paints at present.
    Cheers,
    navyman.

Hello. My wife very kindly gave me a Christmas present a few years ago: `An introduction to British grenades' by Ian D Skennerton, first published 1988 and covers No. 1 to No. 95. The ISBN is 094 974 9109. 56 pages with diagrams & photos. Useful info.

I found a No.26 ELEY while snorkeling in Bermuda. Bad shape but wondering if anyone has a picture and knows what it's worth.
