Another addition to the collection is this Exploding incendiary
that was recovered from the crash site of a Dornier Do 217E-4
of KG2.Werke No (5470)US+ET. 30/31st July 1942

Crew Fw, K. Laub. Fw.H. Werner. Fw K.A. Gussefeld. Uffz.H.Hammelmann
were all killed.

The aircraft was shot down by 3.7 inch AA fire and crashed at Glatton,
near Peterborough, Northants at 1.20am.

The fuse is unfortunately missing as is the arming wire but if i cannot
find one then i will prefabricate the bits to complete this bomb.

Totally free from all explosive and detonators

cheers Satan

Wow!!

Thats a stunner mate! Excellent history too.
Have a look under the `bombs` section and tell me if those parts i have are the right ones to make one of these up? They are on page 3,a couple of rows down.

cheers

Hi Mate
What you are missing is basically the nose and middle section and spacer peice, which could be obtained to complete your one :tinysmile_twink_t2: as your IB is compatible.

Best phil

Here a drawing of the incendiary bombs.
