    No8 Grenade

The No8 grenade enterd service in May 1915
These are a very simple design ,basically two tin cylinders one inside the other. The smaller cylinder holding the explosives and detonator ,the larger contained shrapnel balls set into a resin
Markings: On a label pasted to the grenade body

Any Live or Dug ordnance shown by me has been disposed of by military EOD personnel .
