Does anyone have a British WW1 No1 grenade Mk's 1,2 or 3 in their collection ? (same type as in my little pic) if so, I would really like to see some pictures, regards, Tony.

Tarbelin51 put a nice photo of one in the grenades section

Any Live or Dug ordnance shown by me has been disposed of by military EOD personnel .

Heres the Mk2. they shortened the handle to make it easier to throw in confined trenches.

Heres the mark 3. this one has a simpler top cap for ease in production.
this one still has its origina paint, markings and whipcord.

    Mk 1 grnd,

Very nice grenades you have there, but hard to come by in that condition.
    Im very envious of you.

Paul beat me to it, but here is mine, No. 1 Mk. III, all original all complete except for the safety pin (anyone happen to have a couple laying about they don't need?).
