    An old discusion

Proper positioning of German 37mm Tracer projectiles. If you match up the casing crimp indent with the groove in the projectile you can't go wrong. I have never seen an explosive projectile that had the higher band position for the 37x101 case.

In theory the 37x101 cases should function in the Maxim
and revolving Cannon, but slight rim size difference so Iím not sure about this.

    37x101 german

This cartridge, lenght case extend 7mm,(in 1917) is only make for maxims-gun by any small modifications (lenght chamber,extractor...)
The lenght complete of munition don't change.
On the other hand, the rate of fire is highly.

    Hi all,
Has anyone got a drawing showing the internal construction of the tracer projectile for the Sockelflak, please? And what was the tracer composition? Not phosphorus, I assume.

    This should help

Not phosphorus - If these were phosphorus filled, nobody would have one or want one !
The example in the drawing has the wider single band.
