Attached is a photograph of a 20 X 124 Japanese round plus its transport tube.

The cartridge was used in three different guns, the anti tank rifle mod 97 from 1937, the fixed aircraft cannon HO-1 and the flexible mounted aircraft H-3.

The projectile shows black with green and white band = hardened steel.

If there are any Japanese speakers out there I'd be interested to know what the transport tube says on it.

No headstamp.

All inert and safe etc.

Dave.

Thanks Falcon.

Anyone had any thoughts about what the Japanese writing says on the transport tube?

Dave.

Yea I agree, cool answer, but it does bring me onto another idea - does anyone have any ammunition made in Taiwan??

Dave.
