lol...I took a screen shot for posterity. 
The daft thing is, America clearly has a problem with hand-gun violence especially in schools/colleges, as is clearly seen in the sad Seattle college shootings which caused this ban...(and sadly repeated since!!)
So how do eBay respond?....their answer is of course a lawyer driven wholesale ban on Ordnance including the deadly INERT variety (except weirdly grenades???). Can you imagine the immense effort and cost to make an 88mm case live not to mention the difficulty dragging a German 88mm Flak 18 gun around to fire the round.
Ok, that was a daft example, but up the street in Walmart (just one of thousands of shops) they will sell you numerous varieties of hand guns, rifles, shotguns, in fact anything you could care to mention along with live ordnance, to almost anyone.
Personally, I'm glad we don't have the same gun laws in this country, just a shame we can't start kicking out the soft lefties and PC people

What is not permitted?
Firearms:
Firearms cannot be listed on eBay.co.uk or eBay.ie. In addition UK and Irish residents cannot list firearms on any eBay site worldwide. Firearms include all component parts of a firearm, sporting, collectible, curio & relic, signalling pistols, and antique firearms, regardless of their capability to fire a shot. Any item that is designed to discharge any shot, bullet or other missile is covered by this ban, regardless of that item's present ability to fire. Replica or imitation firearms may also not be listed on eBay.
