Yes, these ones were unfired.

The EOD decided to dig a hole next to a large tree and destroy the two weathered 30mm's that way. The surface on which they were found is rock, so to put them into a hole was the best solution, with the tree, as a buffer. That's all you need pieces of rock flying all over the place. At first EOD thought the 30mm projectiles were practice, but were too heavy, so decided HE. Sure was a big bang :S
