Hi Chaps,I went to pick this up yesterday for a pal of mine.
Not bad for the money but im curious of the design of this case?

Fully inert and empty of course!

Whats with the tail end of the case? Its deffo different from the one i have in my collection. I think once the end is straightened out,i reckon those tail fins with the strange 'capping' on will fit?
what say you boys?

Hi Paul Nice SC50 kg im intriged by the fuze pocket Somebody has made an adapator for a smaller diameter fuze to fit in , unless it was a gate guardian and the bomb was mounted on a plinth ?

only a sugesstion, but could it be a photoflashbomb?
as far as i can see on this drawing, it has also a thick baseplate.

If its 30 inches then its a SC50 Kg if 24 inches its a SD50.

Hi Steve,
That fuze pocket is a baffler isnt it?
I shall PM you,Spotter and Phil a pic as i want you to take a peek at something...

Thanks 3in for that document,
If it is indeed a photoflash bomb, then a type 9 fuze is surely the one for it?

it measures around 27 inches from the nose to tail end of the case.
seems a little lighter than mine also?

Thanks 3in,
Im beginning to think the case and tail is indeedy an early series SC50 after a recent telecon and a good look through the books. :)
