Ordnance approved
two UXB Sc50 found near town Drvar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. both rendered safe by Federal Administration of Civil Protection EOD professionals.

i put 'opened' bomb picture because i find it interesting for ones colecting german wwii drop ordnance.

I just whas reading on the action at Drvar by SS Falschrimjager 500.
 
about german attempt to capture tito, chief in command of yugoslav partisans?

i have found and disposed several UXBs of german origin around drvar in last couple of years.
 
Yes i'am reading a personel acount from the german commander.
Just 800 germans dropping in on 6000 of Tito's guys. :tinysmile_cry_t2:
It whas a hell of a battle for them.

every bomb i found around drvar was fitted with elaz55 fuse

The El.AZ.55 was built in the general-purpose bomb SD 500 and the SD 500A. Greeting Harry
 
This is the Elaz 55 Tp (Tropen) used in the tropics.

Harry the fuze is the same only you can use it in a warmer climate.

both SC50s are found during mass tomb exhumation in one natura pit, so i assume that bombs were moved from find site.

we still found a lot in Pazaric near Sarajevo, mostly 7,7 cm krupp and brixia mortar bombs.
