Here a cutaway from a HE cartridge Dm101 for the 40mm grenade launcher, as you can see the verry complicated fuze is bigger then the main charge.

That sure is some Fuze !

Very nice cutaway indeed.

Just as a matter of interest, how long did it take you to do that ?
 
I took me a total of 6 hours becaus of the complicated fuze and to cut to the hardened steel balls.
