I have a bottom end of a `38 which i will now section and put on display.
Question is will i have to be careful cutting it as there may be mercury tilt switches inside??

Hi Paul
No mercury switches in any normal German ecr fuze the only exception being the Y fuze which was marked either (50)B Y
or (25) Y

Judging from the stains on the head it apears to have had a cap on it which is a saving grace

Ah i see!,thank you Steve.
i will pen-oil the rascal when i get it to see if the plungers are still in working order.
