    Kirkee files

    MANY THANKS NORMAN

I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR SHARING ALL OF THIS FANTASTIC INFO WITH US ALL. A REAL WEALTH OF HARD TO FIND INFORMATION.
I'M NOW IN OVERDRIVE BUSY CONSOLIDATING IT ALL WITH INFO FROM OTHER SOURCES AND EDITING IT ALL INTO MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENTS.

    ONCE AGAIN MANY THANKS,
    CHEERS,
    BOUGAINVILLE

    Hi all,

I just posted the below reply to the thread about the 'F on Japanese headstamps', and afterwards I came across this thread, which seems to be a better location for my post, so I'll repeat it here:

At present I'm on holiday in sunny Venezuela, but I've got a few moments of time to fullfill part of my contribution to the docs on Japanese ammo.
Over the past few weeks, my co-webmaster of the NVBMB and ECRA sites, Charles Raam, has done an excellent job in adding a great many docs from Kirkee to the 'digital library', that's hosted on the NVBMB site.
Being the webmaster there, I can directly hotlink to them, without issues of server providers etc., as the owner of the server is your's truly.
Nonetheless, it would be good if traffic could be limited, and if someone can perhaps add them to a specialised download server, such as is used for the previously posted docs, such that the load on my machine doesn't become too heavy.
Also, quite possibly there are duplicates between these ones, and the ones posted previously, but that's just a matter of filtering out the ones that weren't present already.

    Enjoy!

I'm always looking for good Japanese and old Chinese ammunition, especially in the calibres of 12.7mm and bigger.

    Japanese Ammunition Leaflets

Forgive me for asking Ogreve but are these not the exact same documents that I slaved over a hot scanner to put up on Mediafire for the benefit of BOCN members?

    Hi,

That's possible, as it's been weeks since I've last looked there.
I thought these documents included several titles not present at your location, but I guess you added to them then, since I last checked?

Either way: if so, then I guess they were pulled from here, and cross-posted on the NVBMB site. Bummer, but no big deal. When back at home, I shall post some more docs on Jap ammo that I have, but some titles are pretty big (hundreds of MBs) so I'm not certain if I can post them easily for public download...

    Cheers!

Looking at the documents, they were the exact same, except ogreve had one additional that I didn't see in Bonnex's mediafire location.
